What services does WMA provide?

WMA provides bookkeeping and monthly accounting, accounting cleanup, QuickBooks Online setup, individual and business tax preparation, tax planning, and controller/advisory services.

How do I know which service I need?

You do not need to diagnose the service yourself. WMA begins with a consultation to understand your situation and recommend the appropriate next step.

Is the initial consultation free?

WMA offers a complimentary discovery call for general fit and scoping. Professional tax, accounting or advisory analysis may require a paid engagement.

Do you work with clients outside Dallas–Fort Worth?

Yes, many services can be provided virtually, subject to tax jurisdiction, service complexity and engagement fit.

Bookkeeping FAQs

How much does monthly bookkeeping cost?

Essential Accounting starts at $450/month, Growth Accounting at $750/month, and Advisory Accounting at $1,250/month.

Is cleanup included in monthly bookkeeping?

Not automatically. Historical cleanup is separately scoped.

Does WMA process payroll, pay bills or invoice customers?

Not automatically. Those functions require separate scope where offered.

Tax FAQs

How much does individual tax preparation cost?

Individual tax preparation starts at $450.

How much does business tax preparation cost?

Business tax preparation starts at $1,200.

How much does a tax-planning consultation cost?

Tax Planning Consultations start at $400.

Does WMA guarantee a refund or tax savings?

No. Tax results depend on the client's facts and applicable law.

Controller & Advisory FAQs

What is the difference between bookkeeping and controller services?

Bookkeeping focuses primarily on maintaining financial records. Controller services add greater oversight of close, reporting, reconciliations, accounting processes, controls and management reporting.

Is Fractional Controller the same as Fractional CFO?

No. Broader CFO-level strategic finance services are not automatically included.

General FAQs

Will I work directly with a CPA?

WMA is CPA-led. Direct involvement depends on the service level, with advisory services providing the greatest recurring CPA interaction.

What if my books need cleanup?

Cleanup is separately assessed and scoped. Limited-scope cleanup starts at $900.

Does WMA use QuickBooks Online?

Yes. QuickBooks Online is a primary platform for many WMA engagements.

Does a consultation create a client relationship?

No. A client relationship begins only after both parties accept a written engagement agreement.
